- Dry-roast the sesame seeds until they pop lightly. Cool and crush coarsely.
- Heat ghee and jaggery on low heat until the jaggery melts and bubbles.
- Drop a little syrup into cold water. It should form a firm ball that snaps when bent.
- Switch off the heat and quickly mix in sesame, peanuts, and cardamom.
- Grease your palms lightly with ghee.
- While the mixture is warm enough to handle, shape it into 12 ladoos.
